WATERCOLOUR FOR BEGINNERS’ at St. Paul’s Church Hall, Preston, Paignton
WHAT DOES THE COURSE ENTAIL?
On this course I will be covering everything you need to know to make a start in watercolour painting. The techniques I will show you will provide you with a basic grounding in how to paint your own pictures in watercolour.
Topics will include:
—Flat, graded & varied washes
—Building up layers, or washes
—Working with a limited palette
—Importance of tonal values
—Colour mixing
—Painting wet-on-dry & wet-in-wet

HOW LONG IS THE COURSE?
This is a ten week course of 2-hour lessons.

WHEN DOES IT START?
Tuesday 5th February.

WHAT ARE THE COURSE TIMES?
09:30—11.30.

WHAT WILL IT COST?
£80 for ten lessons.

DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
A deposit of £40 will be required to book a place on the course (remaining balance of £40 due on 5th March).

WHERE IS THE COURSE BEING HELD?
At St. Paul’s Church Hall—in the small classroom to the rear of the church, which overlooks a small field.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?
There is a large car park at the church.

CAN I GET TO THE VENUE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT?
Yes, the number 12 Stagecoach bus stops just outside.

HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BE ON THE COURSE?
There will be a maximum of 15 on the course
